In Memory of

Request from Rainbow Bridge

Author unknown

Weep not for me though I am gone
Into that gentle night.
Grieve if you will, but not for long
Upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my soul's at rest.
There is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed
For all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not,
The fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts,
In your memory I live on.
Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death,
But Celebrate my life.

Lana Trow

Tammi & Lana August 2008 meeting in Illinois to pick up Pepper Pal

Oct 9, 2008 - I recieved a call that a very special person in my life had passed away on Oct 8th.
Many of you had never met Lana Trow, but adopted her greyhounds. Lana and I met many years ago while I was trying to locate
racing information on my first greyhound. We soon became very good friends and enjoyed working together in placing the
retired hounds. Lana worked hard helping Greyt Rescues and other adoption groups in her area to make sure that the hounds
were placed into loving homes. I learned a lot from Lana Trow. She is deeply missed by all who knew her. Lana's husband Eddie
continues to work with greyhounds. Lana's two children, Michelle and Michael also work with the hounds and her three grandchildren
enjoy greyhounds also.
Lana, you uare very much missed. Tammi

A POEM TO JAZZY

As you lay beside me, with such a loving care
My diseased old heart beating, felt your every stare
You laid and walked with me every day and night,
Throughout your loving home
Your loving stare I so felt, When my mind it did roam
As you raised your head to see me cry,
Your loving stare was full of care
I knew your loving heart was very Ny
I knew then your loving heart was something very rare
As I watch you toss and fro in agonizing pain
I find my heart goes out to you with such a loving stare
You will always be the good weve known
As you walked throughout our home
As you slip into eternal rest
Your memories we've known
Until we leave this old earth you see,
Jasmine , you will always be the Queen of our home
